EARLY CREATIVE PASSION
Designer Nina Runsdorf created her first jewelry collection aged 11, in her parents’ farm in upstate New York. A precocious talent to say the least, it’s no surprise that she came back to jewelry design years later. It took her creating the Flip Ring, to finally consider going into business on her own, which she did in 2005.
To celebrate this anniversary, Nina has designed a special piece - a copy of an early, bespoke version of her trademark design.
LAYERING AND MIXING
The collection’s summery tones evoke memories of dreamlike holidays by the sea. As it turns out, with a nostalgic yet tender outlook, Runsdorf has turned this unique “never too precious to wear” collection into a celebration of a bohemian Indian summer, photographed by Andres Altamirano.
Tree opals, crafted from 15-million-year-old mineralized Indonesian wood, evoke captivating land and sky scapes and form the core of this exceptional collection. Light to dark turquoise meet with stripes of rich browns. Bold and warm, Yahwah Opals are interspersed with brown diamonds and paraiba, and accompany a rosewood carved bracelet, adorned with rose gold and pave brown diamonds.

WARM, MODERN, ELEGANT
For this collection, Nina chose rose gold, warm and sensual in tone, which she adorned with rough diamonds, brown and rosecut diamonds, for their delicate and playful movement, whether on your ears or on your fingers.
A master of layering, which provides context for her brand motto, “Never too precious to wear”, Nina gives us a lesson in mixing and matching. Embracing her favorite original designs like this Fringe Ring, as well as some of her Sliced Diamonds and tonal rough diamonds.
GRATEFUL ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Most importantly, Nina would like to thank all the people who have helped her since 2005 to make her dreams come true.
In particular, she is grateful to her family, her team and suppliers, who made it possible to bring this incredible collection to life in such a complicated time.
